Puppies and parades

When you were one year old, you stayed with me and Pépère overnight at our house on the first Saturday in December. It was a warm, sunny day and we decided to go to Port Perry, one of our favourite towns to visit. We went to Willowtree Farm to buy some treats, and visited the goats they had in pens outside.

Then, we visited a tack shop owned by one of my friends. A tack shop sells everything for horses, but they also have toys for kids and this shop had a little Yorkshire dog called Murphy. You loved Murphy! You sat on the floor and petted and petted him. You were very gentle and Murphy appreciated your pets. Then we went to one of our favourite restaurants, Jester’s Court for dinner. It is supposed to have a ghost who lives there, but I’ve never seen it.

Then came the most exciting part of the day: the Port Perry Christmas parade! You were enchanted by all the lights, music and floats. There were even dogs decorated with Christmas lights in the parade! It was a very fun weekend and we loved spending it with you.
