Halloween and a red tomato

Your mom had a lot of fun Halloween costumes when she was a kid.

When she was two, she dressed up like a big fat tomato. She had red pants and I had an adult-sized red sweatshirt that I shoved full of white fluffy stuffing to make it round on her. I got some green felt and sewed a leaf on the sweatshirt to cover up a logo. I had made myself a Halloween costume with a red hat that had flower petals around my face. I cut off the petals, made another felt leaf for the top of the hat, and that was the other part of your mom’s costume.

She wore it out trick or treating, and to a Halloween party at Aunt Terri’s house. This photo is her and with her cousin Tuesday.

Over the years, she also dressed as Snow White, a Keystone Kop, and a little devil among other things.
